Choosing a Bowl Configuration
Equal Double Bowls
Equal double bowl sinks split the basin evenly into two matching sections, suited to households that want consistent space on both sides for washing and rinsing or soaking.
1¾ and 1½ Bowl Configurations
Several of our Carysil ranges, such as the New Beethoven and Vivaldi collections, use a 1¾ or 1½ bowl layout, pairing one full-size bowl with a smaller secondary bowl for rinsing, food prep or draining. This gives more usable space in the main bowl while still keeping a second basin for smaller tasks.
Sinks with Integrated Drainer Boards
Ranges including Enigma and Jazz include a built-in drainer board alongside the double bowl, providing a dedicated space to air-dry dishes without a separate freestanding rack taking up bench space.
Material Options
Our double bowl range spans granite composite, stainless steel and fireclay. Granite composite offers strong resistance to scratches, heat and staining across a range of colours including black, white and concrete grey. Stainless steel remains the most budget-friendly and widely available option, while fireclay, such as our Carysil Fine range, offers a dense, glossy finish suited to farmhouse-style kitchens.
